THEODORE KREI (1906 - 1974)


Greenwood - Services for Theodore Krei, 68, of route 3, Greenwood,Clark County, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Immanuel United Church of Christ. Mr. Krei died at 12:25 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, 1974, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield, where he had been a patient since Aug. 20.


The Rev. Pacifico Camarin, pastor, will officiate at the Saturday service, and burial will be made in Forest Hill Cemetery, Greenwood.


Friends may call at the Hill Funeral Home beginning Friday noon and at the church from noon Saturday until time of services.


Mr. Krei was born April 12, 1906, in Wayne, Neb., where he was educated, and was married there Dec. 20, 1938, to the former Teresa Lewis, who survives him. He resided in Wayne County until 1957, when he came to a farm 9 miles northwest of Greenwood, in the Braun Settlement area.


He was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ.


In addition to his wife, survivors include two sons, Harold, Greenwood, and Theodore Jr., Chippewa Falls a daughter, Mrs. James (Janet) Petkovsek, Greenwood a brother, Walter, Laurel, Neb. a sister, Mrs. Rollie (Amelia) Spears, Bakersfield, Calif. a half-brother and two half-sisters and three grandchildren.


A brother and sister preceded him in death.
