FRANK DUX, LONGTIME LOYAL RESIDENT, DIES AT MEMORIAL HOME


Frank Dux, 88, of Route 2, Loyal, Clark County, died at 1:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, 1975 at Memorial Home, Neillsville.


Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal, with burial in the Lutheran Cemetery. The Rev. William Humlie officiated.


Frank Dux was born Feb. 4, 1888 in the Town of Pine Valley. He received his education in local schools. He was married on Oct. 6, 1910 to the former Hilda Wegner, who preceded him in death in 1967. After their marriage they lived and farmed in the Town of York. He lived there until Sept. 21, when he became a resident of Memorial Home.


He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal.


The Rinka Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.


Frank Dux is survived by two sons, Erwin and Verland, both of R. 2, Loyal 3 brothers, Ben and Herman of Neillsville, and Robert of Lancaster, Calif.


He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.


In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
