PAUL SNEDIC, WILLARD, PASSES AWAY


Paul P. Snedic, age 63, of route 1, Willard, Town of Hendren, Clark County, was found dead at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4, 1975 at his farm. Cause of death was an apparent heart attack. Funeral services will be held Friday Nov. 7 at 10:30 a.m. at the Holy Family Catholic Church, Willard. Burial will be made in the Holy Family Cemetery. Father Francis Brockman will officiate.


Rinka Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.


Mr. Snedic was born June 29, 1912 at Joliet, Ill. He had never been married. He attended the North Willard School and farmed all of his life in the town of Hendren. He ran the family farm. He was a member of the Holy Family Church at Willard.


He is survived by one brother, John, Greenwood and four sisters, Mrs. Roger (Mary) Djubenski, Willard Mrs. Anna Horvat, Willard Mrs. William (Josephine) Valenzuela, San Diego, Calif. and Mrs. John (Angie) Zueg, Superior, Wis.

Snedic, Paul Peter (29 June 1912 – 4 November 1975)

This neighborhood was saddened by the sudden death of Mr. Paul Peter Snedic, 63, of Willard who was found dead in the barn on his farm Tuesday morning. His death was due to a heart attack.

His body laid in state at the Rinka Funeral Home in Greenwood till Thursday night when it was taken to the Holy Family Catholic Church in Willard for services at 8:00 p.m. On Friday morning services were held at 10:30 a.m. Burial was at the parish cemetery. Rev. Frances Brockman of Thorp officiating.

Mr. Snedic was born on June 29, 1912 at Joliet, Il., to John and Mary Krnicar Snedic. He arrived to Willard as a two-year-old child with his parents and they settled on a farm in the north Willard area where he resided till his death. He was farming on the home farm.

Surviving are one brother, John of Greenwood, four sisters: Mrs. Rober (Mary) Djubenski, Mrs. Anna Horvat, both of Willard, Mrs. Josephine Vanzuela, San Diego, Ca., Mrs. John (Angela) Zeug of Superior; 16 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Pallbearers were Patrick Plautz, William Snedic, Michael Plautz, Jim Snedic, Eugene Djubenski and David Zeug.

Mr. Snedic was born June 29, 1912, in Joliet, Il. He never married. He attended the North Willard School and operated the family farm. He was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church in Willard.

Surviving is a brother, John, of Greenwood; and four sisters, Mrs. Roger (Mary) Djubinski of Willard, Mrs. William (Josephine) Vanzuela of San Diego, Ca., and Mrs. John (Angie) Zeug of Superior.

Funeral services were held on Friday from the Holy Family Catholic Church in Willard. Burial was made in the Holy Family Cemetery. The Rev. Francis Brockman of the Thorp Catholic Church was in charge.

Pallbearers were William Snedic, James Snedic, Patrick Plautz, Michael Plautz, Eugene Djubenski, and Wendell Ziegler.

Those from away who attended the funeral services included Mrs. William Vanzuela, San Diego, Ca.; Mrs. John Zeug, Superior; Mr. and Mrs. Mike Plautz and family, Minneapolis, Mn.; Mr. and Mrs. Jim Snedic and family, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Wanderland, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Ziegler and family of Neillsville; and Mr. and Mrs. Steve Koszuck, Milwaukee.
