Lucille K. Badzinski, 78, of Thorp, WI passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 1999.


She was born in Gilman, WI on November 24, 1920 to Frank and Evelyn (Brenner) Swienton.


She was united in marriage to Alex Badzinski on September 12, 1942 at Hedwig's Chruch in Thorp, WI.


Lucille's time on earth was devoted to her family, home, garden, flower beds, and friends. Her home was open to all, especially the many children with whom she babysat.


Lucille was a member of the St. Bernard-Hedwig's Choir, St. Mary of Czestochowa Choir, and the P.C.C.W. St. Anne's Circle.


Lucille was a wonderful woman and will be dearly missed by her loving husband Alex of Thorp sons: Dennis of Kissimmee, FL, Duane (Judy) of Chippewa Falls daughters: Dianne and Denise of Thorp grandchildren: Brent Badzinski of Orlando, FL, Loren (Pam) Luzinski of Menomonie, Lori Luzinski of Green Bay, Shannon (Debbie) of Tillsonburg, Ontario, Shana Badzinski of Chippewa Falls, Natasha Badzinski of Layton, UT great grandson Tyler Luzinski of Menomonie one sister Marcella Knajdek of St. Paul, MN and brother Richard Swienton of Thorp.


She was preceded in death by parents Frank and Evelyn Swienton and sisters: Sylvia Jacque and Gerladine Dombroski.


Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, September 3, 1999 at St. Berhard-St. Hedwig Catholic Church with Father John Puerner officiating. A special eulogy was given by Lori Luzinski. Interment was at the new Hedwig's Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Brent Badzinski, Loren Luzinski, Lori Luzinski, Shana Badzinski, Larry Biddle, Jeff McDonald, and Natasha Badzinski as Honorary Pallbearer.
