----- Mayer, Elaine M. (1 SEP 1962)

Elaine Marie Mayer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Mayer, Humbird, and Harold Lawrence Kaiser, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kaiser, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), who were married Sept. 1, 1962, at Fairview Catholic Church at Fairview, will be making their home at Merritt Island, Florida, the groom being employed at Cape Canaveral.

Rev. M.J. Molinaro performed the 9:30 a.m. ceremony, during which the singers were Mary Emer and George Dimmitt. For the occasion, the bride chose a floor length gown of imported hand clipped lace of tulle and organza over taffeta, the bodice featuring three-quarter length sleeves edged with pearls and sequins. The very bouffant skirt featured a lace overskirt cascading into a chapel train.

Her fingertip veil of silk illusion was secured by an open crown of pearls and sequins and she carried a cascade arrangement of red sweetheart roses and white carnations and ivy.

Bridal aides included Mrs. Paul Mayer of Lowell, Ind., a sister-in-law of the bride, as matron of honor, and Mrs. Jay Perone of Eau Claire, a sister of the groom, as bridesmaid. They wore dresses of aqua chiffon and held yellow mums in a cascade arrangement.

The groom's brother, Bernard Kaiser of Loyal, was best man, and a brother of the bride, Vern Mayer of Neillsville was groomsman. Ushers were Paul Mayer of Lowell, Ind., a brother of the bride, and Jack Kaiser, Vesper, a brother of the groom.

Diane Kaiser, Loyal, a niece of the groom, was flower girl, and Jeffrey Mayer of Lowell, Ind., a nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.

Mrs. Mayer watched her daughter's wedding in a beige print dress with beige accessories and Mrs. Kaiser wore a blue lace dress with blue and beige accessories.

A reception and dinner for 150 guests was served in the church parlors.

The bride is a 1961 graduate of Lincoln High School at Alma Center and has been employed at Wood Motor Co. at Eau Claire. Her husband was graduated from Loyal High School in 1956 and from the University of Wisconsin with an electrical engineering degree in 1962.

The couple will spend their honeymoon enroute to Florida. The groom will be employed as an electrical engineer at Cape Canaveral.
