Southwest Pine Valley (4 FEB 1915)

Get out your shovels and dig.

William Marten had the misfortune to lose his barn by fire in the eastern corner of this town. The farm is occupied by Paul Yoker.

A. Mohr has been on the sick list.

W. Empke baled hay last week.

Art Shumway is working for W. Wilson near Globe, cutting wood and logs.

Christian Mohr is getting out timbers for his barn.

C. White had the wood saw one day last week.

Did you all get plenty to eat at the big feast in Neillsville Saturday? If you didn’t, it’s because you were somewhere else.

Nick Domik and wife, and Frank Hemp and family of Neillsville spent Sunday at John Noll’s, and helped him eat the fifteen rabbits he shot Saturday.

W.P. Shumway had a chimney fire last week. The roof had commenced to burn, but the blaze was extinguished before any damage was [article incomplete]
