----- Baughman, Alice A. (18 AUG 1962)

Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Dahl, who were married Saturday evening, Aug. 18, 1962 at 7:30 in York Center Methodist Church, will be making their new home on a farm south of Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.). The couple was married by Rev. Paul Doering during a ceremony for which Loretta Baughman sang, "At the Altar" and "The Lord's Prayer." She was accompanied by Mrs. Byron Zepplin at the organ.

The bride is the former Alice Ardella Baughman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Baughman, route 2, Greenwood, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Loren Hales, route 1, Granton.

For her wedding the bride chose an off white brocade sheath designed with a V-shaped neckline and double net overskirt. Secured to a crown of aurora borealis crystals was the bridal veil. She carried a bouquet of carnations.

Mrs. Richard Baughman, Greenwood, the matron of honor, was attired in a light blue sheath with white accessories and a small feather hat with sequins and net.

Best man was Donald Rowe, Granton, and John Baughman, Greenwood and Albert Hales, Granton, were ushers.

The wedding reception for members of the immediate families and close friends was held after the ceremony.

Mrs. Dahl is a 1957 graduate of Greenwood High School and has been employed at the Modern Beauty Shoppe, Neillsville. Mr. Dahl, a 1954 graduate of Granton High School, is a parts man for Zupanc Motors, Loyal.
