John Prust was home from Camp Douglas on a 48 hour furlough this week.

Paul Bealer, Dick Fenske, Oscar Neinas, Fred Dankemyer and other came home from the west.

Adolph Ports commenced building cement sidewalks. He got a new mixer and used his engine.

Mrs. A. Degener returned from Chicago last week.

Lila Rustad was at home visiting with her parents.

The free entertainment given at the M.E. Church Sunday was quite well attended.

Herman Henning bought a house at Marshfield last week.

The weather is quite favorable for ripening some of the early corn since the frosts of a week ago.
