Miss Elsie Bodendorfer is in a serious condition at St. Joseph’s Hospital as the result of an automobile accident Thursday night of last week on the road one mile north of the hospital, when a car driven by Chas. Ley became unmanageable and ran through a deep ditch into an embankment. The car was badly wrecked and the occupants of the car, Lydia Bodendorfer, Willie Eibergen and Charles Ley were also injured. Miss Lydia spent five days at the hospital and the boys were somewhat cut about the head. It is the wish of Miss Elsie’s friends that she may soon recover.

Fred Dankemyer and Oscar Neinas returned from Lidgerwood, N.D. on Tuesday. Henry Eibergen will remain there for some time.

Albert Christensen and family, Mr. and Mrs. Wellie Davis autoed to Marshfield Sunday and took in the movies.

Otto Speigelberg cut oats for Fred Dankemyer last week.

Mr. and Mrs. John Van Domlin, Mr. and Mrs. Freeman Dankemyer and Mrs. Fred Dankemyer visited at Sherman Davis’ Sunday evening.

Charley and August Ley drove to Marshfield Tuesday to see the Bodendorfer girl at the hospital and brought Lydia back home.

Gordon Davis, Tony Hornick and Freeman Dankemyer got their new cars Tuesday. Now watch the Fords go by.

Several from around here helped Mrs. Joe Doll celebrate her birthday Saturday night.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dankemyer, Willie and Jennie Eibergen autoed to Marshfield on Wednesday.
