Lynn (22 December 1911)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Chas Guth of Granton visited with the Otto Becker family Sunday.

 

F. Faber and Albert Marg each had the misfortune to lose a horse last week.

 

The F. Helm family spent Sunday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Nichols.

 

Mr. and Mrs. R. T. Washburn spent Sunday p.m. with Mr. and Mrs. I. W. Morris at Granton.

 

Ed Sternitzky and his sister Bertha were business callers at Neillsville Saturday.

 

Max Opelt took his son Carl to Neillsville the fore part of the week to have dental work done.

 

Miss Mary Buchanan is visiting her sister, Mrs. Ed Steinbach.

 

Miss Martha Nitschke was a Neillsville visitor Tuesday.

 

County Superintendent Miss Jule Servaty is spending several days in this vicinity visiting schools.  She is stopping with Mrs. John Martin.

 

Henry Gaden is spending the holidays with his sister Mrs. C. Chubb, Jr.

 

Cylon the little four year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Gotter fell from a chair Tuesday and broke his leg above the knee.  He is doing well at this writing. 

 

Robert Gotter left for Altoona Sunday where he has a position on the railroad as brakeman.

 

Mrs. Glasow of Potter, Wis., is visiting at the Peter Jensen home.

 

Miss Lillian Yorkston returned home from North Dakota where she has been the past six months.

 

Ray Ure has returned home from his trip in the west.

 

The Misses Olga and Elsie Speiser visited at Grassman’s Sunday afternoon.

 

Carl Helm came home Wednesday evening from a 6 months absence at Forest Junction.  Miss Emma Steinbach of that place accompanied him up for a visit at the Ferd Helm home.
