Ingham, Dorothy Carol (11 OCT 1941)

Miss Dorothy Carol Ingham, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. S. Ingham, and Valmore Alvin Schilleman, son of A. E. Schilleman and Mrs. Elizabeth Schilleman of Marshfield, were united in marriage at the home of the bride’s parents in Spencer, Saturday afternoon, Oct. 11, 1941.  The ceremony was performed at 3:00 o’clock by the Rev. Ellery J. Beal, pastor of the Methodist church.

The bride was gowned in thistle-colored light weight wool street dress and wore a corsage of orchid and yellow pompoms at her shoulder.  She was attended by Miss Juanita Schilleman of Marshfield, sister of the groom, who wore a forest green gabardine street length dress and a shoulder corsage of yellow pompoms.  David E. Ingham, brother of the bride, acted as best man.

A wedding dinner was served by the ladies of the Methodist church and a reception was held at the Ingham home after the dinner.  The groom was graduated from Marshfield high school in 1935 and is employed as auditor by the Sears Roebuck Co. of Marshfield.  The bride graduated from the Spencer high in 1937, a member of Tau Gamma Beta sorority of Central State Teachers college and was in nurses training at St. Joseph hospital for over a year.  The newly weds are now at home to their friends in Marshfield.

Out of town guests were David Ingham of Flushing, NY, Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Boucher and two children, A. E. and Mrs. Elizabeth Schilleman and daughter, Juanita, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Krienke, Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Rayborn and Rev. and Mrs. Ellery J. Beal, all of Marshfield.
