Miss Vera Pietenpol came home from Heathville Thursday where she spent the last few weeks in the Fred Pizer home.

 

Mrs. H.J. Pietenpol entertained the W.W. Club at her home Thursday.  Everyone had a pleasant time.

 

The Misses Ora Davis and Elsie Johnson visited our school Friday afternoon.

 

W.J. Davis and Ed Soles attended lodge meeting at Neillsville Saturday.

 

Miss Jean Davis returned to her school near Veefkind Sunday morning after spending a week at her home.

 

Arthur Phipps and wife and daughter spent Friday at the home of their son George near York Center.

 

Miss Ella Hales spent Sunday at the home of her sister Mrs. Will Campbell, who is recovering from a siege of the grippe.

 

W.J. McClaflin and family spent Sunday at the Arthur Phipps home.

 

A.W. Hales and M. Dorst attended the second annual meeting of the Farmer’s Cooperative Packing Co. at Wausau Tuesday, returning Wednesday morning.

 

Mr. and Mrs. W.J. Davis spent last Tuesday with the E.D. Prange family south of Granton.

 

This community was shocked Tuesday to hear of the death of Grandma ide, which occurred at the home of her son C.H. Ide, at the age of 91 years.

 

The Fred Tyler family is having a hard siege of the grippe since early last week.

 

Miss Edna Phipps has been sick with the grippe and liver trouble, but is better at this writing.

 

Cleo Rowe spent Sunday afternoon at Mabel Dorst’s.
