Star Corner (24 November 1911)

 

Ernest Keuer was a business caller at Granton Monday.

 

Henry Preston came Saturday to spend a few days with his son Frank and wife.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Herman Batch were Granton callers Saturday.

 

Chas Bass and daughter Sadie called at the doctor’s office at Granton Thursday.

 

Ray Odekirk left for his home in Fond du Lac Monday.

 

Miss Kleinschmidt spent Saturday and Sunday at her home in Nasonville.

 

Mrs. Ralph Mayhew and Mrs. F. Preston and daughter, Evelyn spent Sunday with Mrs. Ernest Stubbs.

 

Mrs. August Reimer and daughter Eleanor visited at Mrs. Oscar Johnson’s Saturday.

 

Chas Wiesner, Ralph Mayhew and Mr. Seitz delivered cattle to Granton Monday.

 

Pearl Kruse formerly of this place, spent Friday in this vicinity calling on relatives and friends and bidding them farewell as she left Monday for Montana where father has taken up a claim and she will act as his house keeper.

 

Mrs. John Goebel and children spent Tuesday with her parents living on the Ridge.

 

Henry Preston left for his home in Sheboygan County, Wednesday.  He took with him a fine deer which he killed Tuesday.

 

Porath Bros. killed a dandy deer Tuesday.

 

Miss Julia Bentz and Miss Anna Teatz visited friends at Neillsville Tuesday and Wednesday.
