Schlinsog, Margaret (Marriage - 14 November 1911)

Miss Margaret Schlinsog, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adolf Schlinsog and Mr. August Schlinsog, Jr., a son of Mr. and Mrs. Aug. Schlinsog were happily married at the Mapleworks German Lutheran Church at 2:30 Tuesday afternoon. The bride was becomingly gowned in a handsome dress of soft grey material.  Louise Tischer and Lena Balke in pretty gowns of white were the maids of honor.  Messrs. Albert and Ernest Schlinsog, brothers of the bride and groom respectively, acted as groomsmen.  After the ceremony the bridal party with their invited guests went to the home of the bride’s parents where a reception was held and a bounteous wedding supper spread.

The groom is an industrious, sober, prosperous and well known young farmer with many friends. The bride, a capable and competent house keeper of very pleasing manner and address is well qualified to preside over this worthy husband’s home.

The happy pair will take up their residence upon the home farm of the groom’s parents where August will continue to operate the farm as he has for several years past. The News joins in congratulations and best wishes to this worthy pair.
