Gluch, Ida (Marriage - 4 October 1911)

Wedding Bells rang for two of Grant’s best known worthy young people at five o’clock Wednesday afternoon just preceding the church ceremony by Rev. Reiff which united the happy pair, Mr. Archie Howard and Miss Ida Gluch.  They were attended by Herman Gluch and Miss Gertrude Howard, brother and sister of the bride and groom and by Oswald Pischer and Miss Hazel Owen.  The bride, the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Gluch, Sr., a beautiful girl, presented a charming picture in her wedding gown in blue messaline set off by her bridal veil. She carried a huge bouquet of brides’ roses and with her maids attired in pretty gowns of white, the groom and his attendants in black the bridal picture was complete.

A bounteous wedding supper and the usual wedding festivities followed at the home of the bride’s parents directly after the services at the church.  The groom, the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Geo Howard has the qualifications requisite for the head of a happy home, and he has secured for a help mate a young woman of many endearing womanly qualifications and capable to perform all the duties requisite to the position she is henceforth elected to fill.  The News joins in best wishes for a happy and prosperous wedded life to this young couple so united.
