Reineke, Harold #2 (20 MAR 1906 - 16 FEB 1960)

 

Harold O.E. Reineke was born March 20, 1906 at Wonewac, Wis. and was killed in a tractor accident at Sister Lakes, Mich. on Feb. 16, 1960.

 

Surviving are five sisters, Mrs. Arthur Baures, Fairchild; Mrs. Arthur Morrison; Mrs. Chester Danielewicz of Thorp; Mrs. Duane Bowen, Dowagiac, Mich.; Mrs. Jack Huston, Seattle, Wash., and five brothers, Arthur, Thorp; Lester, Augusta; Roy, Lawrence, Ind., Alvin, Eau Claire; and Luverne of Baltimore, Md., thirty seven nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

 

He was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, of Dowagiac.  A service was held at the McLaughlin Funeral Home at Dowagiac, Feb. 17th by Rev. Ernest Klaszus.  The body was then brought to Thorp.  Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Thorp.  Rev. R.W. Olson officiated.  Burial was made in the Butler Cemetery.

 

Pallbearers were nephews, Donald Reineke of Kenosha, William Reineke of Barron, Ben Baures, Edgerton, Wyoming, Norman Danielewicz, U.S. Army, Larry Morrison, Chippewa Falls and Donald Bower, Dowagiac, Mich.
