Hamelin, Henry C. (1 March 1901 - 14 November 1965)

 

Funeral services for Henry C. Hamelin, 64, of Neillsville were held Tuesday afternoon from the Georgas Funeral home, with the Rev. Bernard T. Kelly officiating.  Burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.  Mr. Hamelin, who died Sunday at his home, was born March 1, 1901, in St. Paul, Minn.  He attended schools in that area.

 

On June 11, 1928 he was married to the former Ruby Swing in Waukegan, Ill. They resided in the Milwaukee area for many years.  Two months ago they moved to Neillsville.  At the time of his death Mr. Hamelin was an employee of the Rockford Dispatch Cartage Company.

 

He is survived by his wife; five children, Dona Kenowski of Weyauwega, Thomas of Chicago, Ill., Joseph of Milwaukee, Sharon Wundlick of Milwaukee, Rose Hamelin of Neillsville; a sister, Mrs. Benjamin Knaffla of St. Paul; Minn.; a brother, Thomas of California; and 10 grandchildren.

 

Pallbearers were: John C. Rychnovsky, John Trogner, Charles Marvin, George Kelly, Nick Lemmer and Charles Ford.

 

Out of town people attending included: Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hamelin and Mrs. Sharon Wundlick of Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hamelin of Chicago; George Kelly of Menomonee Falls; Nick Lemmer of West Allis; Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Kenowski and family of Weyauwega; Charles Ford of Taylor Falls, Minn.; Morton Ford of Center City, Minn.; William Reiter of Dresser; Mrs. Grace Bondeson of Luck; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Zillgitt of Lake City, Minn.; and Mr. and Mrs. Dick Russian of West Salem.
