Meinholdt, Albert ‘Snag’ (30 September 1901 - 27 October 1965)

 

Albert (Snag) Meinholdt, 64, lifelong resident of Greenwood, died suddenly of a heart attack at the home of his brother, Oscar Meinholdt, October 27.

 

Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. from Immanuel United Church of Christ.  The Rev. Orval Egbert officiated.  Burial was made in Westside Cemetery.

 

Mr. Meinholdt was born September 30, 1901, in the Town of Eaton.  He spent his entire lifetime in the Greenwood area, except for short periods of employment elsewhere.  He never married.

 

Survivors include six brothers, Arthur of Merrillan, Rudolph of Owen, August of Independence, Mo., Louie of Neillsville and Oscar and Edward of Greenwood; two sisters, Mrs. Olga Reineking of Greenwood and Mrs. Hans (Alma) Kolpanen of Milwaukee; several nieces, nephews and sisters-in-law.
