Knoll, Audrey Ann (Marriage - 21 August 1965)

Audrey Ann Knoll, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Knoll of Rt. 1, Granton, exchanged nuptial vows Saturday with Richard Dale Wyer, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Wyer, Sr., of Rt. 2, Loyal.  The nuptial mass was conducted by the Rev. Norbert E. King in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Loyal.  Nuptial music was furnished by the church choir.

The bride entered the church with her father, who gave her in marriage.  For her wedding she was attired in a floor length gown of peau de soie, adorned with Chantilly lace, sequins and pearls. The Basque bodice featured a scalloped lace bateau neckline, and long, lace sleeves. A controlled skirt of peau de soie flowed from a princess-style waistline. She carried a bouquet of red roses.

Mrs. Henry (Arlene) Knoll of Wisconsin Rapids was matron-of-honor.  Bridesmaids were Miss Sharon Anderson of Chili, and Miss Diane Weyer of Loyal. The attendants were attired in pastel green chiffon-over-taffeta dresses.  Their gowns were enhanced with round necklines and cummerbund and bows accented the back of the waistline. Bows and pale green illusion made up their headpieces.  Their bridal bouquets were yellow and white chrysanthemums.

Henry Knoll of Wisconsin Rapids was bestman.  Groomsmen were Robert Geldernick of Chili and Joseph Tasse of Marshfield.  Ushers were John Wyer of Loyal and Dennis Markham of Marshfield.

The bride, a 1964 graduate of Loyal High School is employed in the Marshfield Clinic. The groom, a 1964 graduate of the Loyal High School, also is employed in Marshfield.

On their return from a wedding trip to Northern Wisconsin, Mr. and Mrs. Wyer will reside at 1000 E. Arnold Street Marshfield.
