Mr. and Mrs. Glen Snow ate New Year’s dinner with A. Snow and wife.

 

Sam Green and family and Fred Hill and family spent New Year’s at Fred Pollnow’s.

 

Alice Schwamb went home Sunday to Tioga after a short visit at J. Davis.  Gerald Davis accompanied her home and spent New Year’s at Tioga.

 

Alvie Dow and Clara Wilcox went over to Tioga New Year’s.

 

Walter Singer is working for Dan Brooks.

 

Last Friday night the Wood men added to their number by Dr. Housley joining.  The Woodmen of Nasonville came down and did the work for the Chili camp.  A good time was had after a spread was prepared in which all did justice.  All went home feeling that woodcraft was all right.

 

The Ure Brothers have their sawmill in Chili and farmers are bringing in quite a lot of logs.  They will soon begin to saw.

 

Paul and A. Beil, John Sicklinger and Gerald Davis all drove to Marshfield on business Wednesday.

 

John Davis, wife, son Irving and daughter Esther, Glenola Snow and Lindsey Clark and wife and daughter all ate dinner at Dick Phipps’ Dec. 31.

 

 

Esther Brooks left for Whitewater and Irma for Marshfield Tuesday where they are attending school.

 

The committee met last Saturday night at the schoolhouse to decide as to what to do with teh furnace.  To pay so much and then not be so as to warm the whole schoolhouse.

 

Sam Green sawed wood Tuesday afternoon.
