FORMER RESIDENT IS BURIED HERE SATURDAY

Mrs. C. G. Kuney, nee Jennie Parette, 53 years of age, who was born and raised on the Parrette farm near Spencer, died at Iowa City, Iowa, last Thursday and her body was brought to Spencer on Saturday where funeral services and burial was made.  Rev. Wm. Penn, pastor of the Methodist church, had charge of the services Saturday afternoon.  Mrs. Kuney made her home with her son in Iowa City, who is a student at the Iowa University.

 

Surviving are a son, Clark Kuney, student at Iowa University, five sisters, Mrs. E. W. (Maud) Johnston, Seattle, Wash.; Mrs. Charles (Ida Mae) Seyferth, Beaver Dam; Mrs. F. A. (Louise) Soles, Platteville; Mrs. Guy (Polly) Vanderhoof, Chippewa Falls, and Mrs. Jean Heal, Shawano, and a brother R. L. Parrette, Spencer.

 

Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Parrette and a sister, Mrs. Agnes Pickett, preceded her in death.  Out of town relatives here for the funeral were Clark Kuney, Iowa City, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Seyferth, Beaver Dam; Mrs. F. A. Soles, Platteville; Mr. and Mrs. Guy Vanderhoof, Chippewa Falls; Mrs. Jean Heal, Shawano, and three nieces Mrs. Frank Bohn, Shell Lake; Mrs. Alvah Ritchie, Sheboygan, and Miss Merle Pickett, Manitowoc.
