Lange, Susan Ann (Marriage - 12 June 1965)

Two baskets of white gladioli were placed on each side of the altar of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Baraboo, for the wedding Saturday of Susan Ann Lange, daughter of Charles K. Lange of Baraboo, and Wayne W. Sanger of Chili. The Rev. Philemon Anderson officiated at a double ring ceremony at 1:30 p.m.  Mrs. Ervin Giese played the nuptial music.

The bride wore a floor-length gown of peau de soie featuring hand-clipped Chantilly lace at the round neckline and extending into a sheath front skirt, with a burst of soft pleats flowing into a chapel train. A Chantilly lace petal crown, embroidered with seed pearls enhanced her bouffant veil.  She carried a cascade arrangement of stephanotis and white roses, centered with a white orchid.

Mrs. Ronald Smith of Madison was matron-of-honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Darlene Jaschob of West Bend and Mrs. Roger Sanger of Chili.

Roger Sanger of Chili, brother of the groom, was bestman. Groomsmen were John Butterbrodt of Chili and George Diana of Round Lake, Ill.

Following a reception at the Elks Club in Baraboo, Mr. and Mrs. Sanger left on a wedding trip into eastern United States. They will reside in Neenah after July 1.

The bride is a graduate of the Baraboo High School and Stout State University, Menomonie, and is employed in Appleton. Mr. Sanger, a graduate of the Marshfield High School and Stout State University, teaches in the Neenah Public Schools.  He is a member of the National Educational Association and American Vocational Association.
