The fine weather conditions continue and it would seem that those who go to Florida or California surely miss it this season.  But remember this is Wisconsin or you may be caught unaware.

The post office changed hands Saturday afternoon so that now Mrs. Beulah Ulbrecht is Lindsey’s Postmistress.

Mrs. Geo. Burt and daughter Mira drove to Marshfield Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. J.P. Hegge, formerly residents here but now of Drake, N.D., arrived in Lindsey Sunday for a several day visit with friends.  They sold their farm just north of the village to the Hahms who came from Germany last spring.

Mr. and Mrs. A.J. Prest went to Marshfield Monday.

Mrs. James Clark came home from the hospital at Marshfield Thursday of last week, after an eight week siege in that institution.

August Broker returned from his Milwaukee trip Thursday of last week by way of Marshfield.  He failed to find a horse to his liking.

Mrs. Van who has been in the fore part of last week.

Dan Messing failed to find a horse to suit him at Milwaukee, arriving home Friday of last week.

A new family by the name of Griffen moved onto the Fred Anderson farm northwest of Lindsey last week.  They came from near Portage.

Ed L. Hartel went to Wausau on Thursday of last week where he expects employment for the winter.

Last week W.C. Washburn shipped a car of hay from Lindsey and P.N. Hansen from north of town hall shipped a car this week.

Miss Helen Sager, teacher of the Lindsey school, is preparing her pupils for an entertainment for Tuesday evening, Dec. 23.  Addie Angel will have her school entertainment on Friday evening, Dec. 19.

Mrs. Will Hartel came home Wednesday from a three week trip to North Port visiting her mother and other friends.

W.J. Robinson sold Chris Paulson a fine bunch of ten shoats Wednesday.
