Frantz, Richard E. (10 January 1881 - 1 June 1965)

 

Funeral services are to be held this (Thursday) afternoon for Richard E. Krantz, 84, of Neillsville, who died here Tuesday.

 

The Rev. Verlyn W. Nelson will officiate at services from the Assembly of God Church at 9:30 a.m.  The body will be taken to Rice Lake for services at 2:30 p.m.  Burial will be made in Rice Lake.

 

Mr. Krantz was born January 10, 1881, in Sweden, coming to the United States with his parents at the age of five years. The family located in Rice Lake, where Mr. Krantz attended school.  His life’s work was in the theatrical field and salesmanship.  He was married May 3, 1941, to the former Rose Marx in Neillsville.

 

Surviving are his wife and a sister, Mrs. Anna C. Messersmith of Gainesville, Fla.

 

He was a member of the Neillsville Assembly of God Church.

Funeral services for Richard E. Frantz, 84, of Neillsville were held Thursday morning from the Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Verlyn W. Nelson officiating.  The body was then taken to Rice Lake for the afternoon service at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Nelson officiating again.  Burial was made at Rice Lake.

 

Pallbearers at Neillsville were: (blotch) Olson, William Ruchaber, Albert Mohr, Harry Richardson, Arthur Carl, and Sven Bonskold.  Rice Lake Pallbearers were (blotch), Herbert L. Ellison, Carl R. (blotch), Charles A. Peterson, Peter (blotch) and B. E. Stroud.

 

Ellis Wall accompanied by Mrs. Jess W. Scott, sang "The Old Rugged Cross" and "In the Garden".

 

Those from Neillsville attending the service in Rice Lake were Mrs. Lewerenz, Mrs. L. Kluchesky and Mrs. Verlyn W. Nelson.
