Globe (13 May 1965)

 

Mrs. Walter Grap of Milwaukee, the former Rose Mitte of the Globe area, died at her home Wednesday of last week. Those who attended the funeral Saturday from the Globe area were: Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Grap, Sr., and his mother, Mrs. Martha Grap, Mrs. Herman Dux and Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Grap, Jr.  They returned the same evening.  Others were Mr. and Mrs. Ted and Robert Mitte, Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Vincent, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Thoma, Mrs. George Thoma and son, Jeffrey, Mrs. Lee Mills, and their mother, Mrs. Hedwig Schoenherr, Mrs. Harold Mitte, and Mrs. Bert Schultz.  Mrs. Martha Grap did not return, but will remain for a longer stay.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Danny Patey and family of Neillsville, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Dux and family, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Thoma and children, Mr. and Mrs. Kurt Hediger and family were supper guests of Mrs. Hilda Thoma and August Meyer, in honor of Mother’s Day.

 

Eugene Schoenherr and boy friend from near Granton visited Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Hagen and family Saturday evening.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Kuenkel and son were in Marshfield Monday afternoon.

 

William Oldham of Osseo, and Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Hagen and family, were dinner guests of Mrs. Raymond Kalsow last Thursday.

 

Mrs. Elsa Schlinkert visited relatives and friends in Neillsville last week.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Hans Kalsow and his brother, Martin, and Mrs. Donald Kalsow, left early Friday morning to visit with her home folks, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Lohman and family at Perryville, Mo.  They returned on Monday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Thoma and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Dux and their families were dinner guests Mother’s Day of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Dux.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Thoma and family visited on Mother’s Day evening with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Thoma.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Howard Sturtz, Sr., of Loyal, and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Kalsow, helped Mrs. Wilbur Hagen celebrate her birthday last Wednesday evening.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Philips and family of Granton visited Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Hagen and family Saturday evening.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Leo Henchen and sons, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Henchen and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Thoma visited Mother’s Day in the afternoon, and were supper guests, with Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Henchen and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Louis Duge and family of Fairchild were dinner guests Mother’s Day of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Kuenkel and brother, Alfred.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Kuenkel and son visited Mr. and Mrs. Carl Eslinger Sunday evening.
