Eibergen, Henry (26 August 1896 - 26 March 1965)

 

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the Gilbertson Funeral Home in Granton for Henry Eibergen, 68, of Granton, who died March 26, at University Hospital, Madison. The Rev. Paul Doering of the Loyal Methodist Church officiated. Burial was made in Windfall Cemetery.

 

Henry Eibergen was born August 26, 1896, in Veefkind, where he attended school and grew to manhood. He was engaged in farming for several years in the towns of Fremont and York.  For 30 years he worked in Libertyville, Ill. He was married May 14, 1960, to Olive Wilson in Wauconda, Ill. They moved to Granton in 1962.

 

Survivors are his wife; two step-children, Louis Wilson of Marshfield, and Mrs. Marie Mulholland of Detroit, Mich.; two sisters, Mrs. Fred (Minnie) Dankemyer of Marshfield and Mrs. William (Jennie) Jakobi of Bakersfield, Cal.; two brothers, Munce of Marshfield and William of rural Granton.

 

Pallbearers were: E. L. Witte, Floyd Pietenpol, Emil Henninger, William Schmidtke, Arnold Garbisch and Peter Montgomery.  Mrs. Leland Garbisch played organ music.
