Fitzl, Beverly Mae (Marriage - 20 February 1965)

Nuptial vows were exchanged in a double ring ceremony Saturday in Calvary Lutheran Church uniting in marriage, Miss Beverly Mae Fitzl, daughter of John Fitzl of Rt. 2, Greenwood, and Edwin Louis Lloyd, son of Mr. and Mrs. Byno Lloyd of Rt. 2, Neillsville. The Rev. E. G. Burtness officiated.

The bride was attired in a ballerina-length gown of white rose point lace over taffeta. Her fitted bodice was styled with a scoop neckline, trimmed with sequins. Long, tapered sleeves further accented the bodice. The lace skirt, bouffantly styled, was gathered at the back into a pouf held by organza roses. A lace crown, trimmed with sequins and pearls, held her fingertip veil of silk illusion.

Miss Kathy Severson of Greenwood was maid-of-honor.  Bridesmaid was Miss Christine Mortenson of Neillsville.  The attendants wore street length dresses of ice blue nylon Caprolon over taffeta, styled with scoop neckline, cap sleeves, and bell shaped skirt. The back of the waists were accented with large nylon bows, to which were attached blue roses. Their pale blue face veils cascaded from blue nylon rose and petal headpieces.

Theodore Kopp, Jr., of Neillsville, a nephew of the groom was bestman.  Groomsman was LeRoy Johnson of Greenwood.  Ushers were Dennis Fitzl and James Mohr (nephew of the groom).

Two hundred guests attended a reception in the church parlors.
