Marshall, Ordie G. (? - 24 February 1965)

 

Ordie G. Marshall, 69, of Neillsville, died early Wednesday morning. 

 

Funeral services are to be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Fifth Street Georgas Funeral Home. The Rev. W. C. Koehler will officiate.  Burial will be made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

LeRoy of Neillsville, George of Black River Falls and Mrs. Alvin (Anita) Eggen of Minneapolis, Minn.; other survivors are a sister, Mrs. Orpha Brucker of Soldiers Grove; a brother, Harold Marshall of Seattle, Wash.; and 12 grandchildren.

 

He was a member of the United Church of Christ of Neillsville.

 

Pallbearers were: Paul Jacob, Arthur Norman, Ray Noll, Irvin Krause, Ralph Short and Irving Stevens.

 

"Abide With Me" and "Beyond the Sunset" were sung by Ellis Wall, accompanied by Mrs. Jess W. Scott.

 

People from away attending the service were: Miss Kathy Marshall of West Bend; Mr. and Mrs. George Marshall and family, M. Slegel, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Strezewski and Mr. and Mrs. Victor Eggen, all of Black River Falls; Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Eggen and family of Minneapolis, Minn.; Mrs. Orpha Brucker, and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Clason, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Gander, all of Soldiers Grove; Mr. and Mrs. Wald Kraehnke of Jefferson; Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Bender of Loyal; Free McHone of Granton; Mr. and Mrs. Bob Galbreath of Sharon; Mr. and Mrs. Peter Peasley, Mrs. Donald Peasley and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Peasley of Black River Falls; and Elmer Gjerseth of Merrillan.
