Schierbel, Mat (died from accident injuries - 3 Sept 1914)
Mat Schierbel, who was so terribly injured last Wednesday morning by having both his legs cut off at the depot, died at the Eau Claire hospital the following day, loss of blood and the shock being too much for his vitality. The remains were taken to Eagle River, where his wife and family resided, and were buried there.
