Greenwood (12 November 1964)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Milton Fitzl have taken possession of the Frank Drenik Tavern, south of Greenwood, which they purchased recently.

 

The Forest Queen Royal Neighbor Camp met Monday evening in the Legion Hall, with Mrs. Lawrence Cox presiding.  Following the business session games were played and prizes were awarded to Mrs. Frances Hinker, Mrs. Walter Swieso and Mrs. Frieda Ampe. A lunch was served by Mrs. Floyd Clintsman, Mrs. Robert Clintsman and Mrs. Margery Colby.  The next meeting will be held December 7.  Hostesses will be Mrs. Lawrence Cox, Mrs. Minnie Cox and Mrs. Simon Wehrman.

 

Mr. and Mrs. William Kavanaugh and her mother, Mrs. Palmer Vinger, visited in Eau Claire Monday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Verhulst were Sunday guests at the Lester Luther home in Eau Claire, in celebration of the birthday of Mrs. Luther, sister of Mrs. Verhulst.

 

Herbert Koenig of Milwaukee spent from Thursday until Saturday with Mrs. Carl Stabnow and family.
