Horvat, Angela Marie (Marriage - 31 October 1964)

Holy Family Catholic Church in Willard was the scene Saturday of the wedding of Miss Angela Marie Horvat, daughter of Mrs. Ann Horvat of Willard, and Wendell J. Ziegler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Ziegler of Willard.  The double ring ceremony was solemnized by the Rev. Fr. Nikolai.

One hundred seventy-five guests witnessed as the bride entered the church with her uncle, John Horvat, who gave her in marriage.  For the occasion, she wore a floor-length gown of white Chantilly lace, the full skirt of which was styled with tiers of lace. The bodice was enhanced with a Sabrina neckline, edged with pearls and crystals. Her bouffant veil billowed from a bejeweled crown.  Yellow roses and white carnations fashioned the bridal bouquet.

Mrs. Thomas Bomback of Marshfield served as matron of honor.  Bridesmaids were Patsy Horvat of Willard and Sandy Ziegler of Willard.  Debbie Ziegler, as flowergirl, was attired as a miniature bride.  Kim Ziegler was ringbearer.

Serving as bestman was Thomas Bomback.  Groomsmen were Eddie Horvat, Greenwood, and Dwight Ziegler, Marion. Ushers were Jack Abel of Greenwood and Ronald Ziegler of Neillsville.

Nuptial music was furnished by the girls’ choir of Holy Family Church.

The new Mrs. Ziegler is a graduate of Greenwood High School and Eau Claire School of Beauty Culture.  She has been employed in a beauty salon in Neillsville.  Mr. Ziegler was graduated from Neillsville High School and is employed in a plant in Neillsville.

The couple is making a wedding trip to Niagara Falls.

Guests were from Marion, Neillsville, Greenwood, Willard, Marshfield, Stevens Point, Eau Claire, Elk Creek and Wausau.
