Neillsville Area Locals (22 October 1964)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Russell Drake returned Monday from a weekend with relatives in St. Paul, Minn., Hudson, Eau Galle and River Falls.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Garald Hart entertained at a family dinner Sunday in honor of the second birthday of their granddaughter, Jill, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Hart. Guests were the Harry Bedell family, the Kenneth Burr family and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Hart and family.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Earl Bruhn, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Allen, attended the football game in Madison Saturday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Bradley Larsen and family of Marshfield, both former Neillsville residents, left Friday for New Orleans, La., where Bradley is attending a Clinic meeting.  They play to return home on Sunday.

 

Mrs. M. E. Bennett was hostess to her sewing club Thursday evening.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Werner Jenni spent last week in Sheboygan with their daughter, Mrs. Myron Payne and her family.

 

Maurice Meredith, accompanied by his sisters, Rose and Ruth of Greenwood, were weekend guests of Mr. Meredith’s daughter, Mrs. John Flitter, and her family, of St. Paul, Minn.

 

Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Aspen have returned from Mt. Prospect, Ill., where they spent several days with their son, Herbert Aspen and his family.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Tim J. Dunn and Rhonda, of Racine called last weekend at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Carl. They were house guests of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Dunn, in Greenwood.  Rhonda is spending this week in Greenwood.  Her parents will come for her next weekend. 

 

Mr. and Mrs. George Church of the Town of Pine Valley are visiting at the Bud and Donald Wildish homes in Helena, Mont.  Her mother, Mrs. Bertha Wildish, has left for an extended visit in the State of Washington with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Stillwell.

 

Mrs. Nettie Smith of Madison is making an indefinite stay in Neillsville, visiting friends and relatives. She is a house guest of her brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Bergen Smith.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Smith and family of Milwaukee spent the weekend visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bergen Smith and Mr. and Mrs. Melford Williams.  Mr. and Mrs. Melford Williams were dinner guests at the Smith home. 

 

Mr. and Mrs. Leon Schnabel and family of the Town of York, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Seelow, spent the weekend with relatives in Milwaukee.  Mr. and Mrs. Seelow, who have resided in Cudahy for several years, have returned to Neillsville to make their home.  They are residing in their house on Hewett Street.
