Winter, Ida Olga (15 OCT 1913)

Wednesday evening, Oct. 15, 1913, a very pretty scene was enacted at the Henry Winter when at 7:30 o’clock.  Rev. J. reiff pronounced the sacred words which joined in marriage, Miss Ida Olga Winter and Mr. Herman Henry Gluch, two of Grant’s best known and most worthy young people.  The bride, carrying a large bouquet of pink and white carnations was attired in a beautiful gown of white crepe du chene and wore a wreath of orange blossoms.  She was attended by her sister Miss Adela, close frien Lillie Garbush.  The groom was attended by his brother John and the bride’s brother Louis.

The beautiful home was further beautified with decorations of cedar asparagus and carnations and the wedding feast a bounteous one, a very palatable and enjoyable affair.

The bride, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Winter, and the groom, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Gluch, were born and raised here in the town of Grant, attending the same schools and taking the paths which brought each into the worthy majority they have attained.

The groom is the proprietor of the Star Cheese Factory and gives the best of satisfaction.  The uniting of this estimable pair establishes the foundation for such homes as the town of Grant prides herself in, and we join with their host of friends in wishing them joy and prosperity through the journey of life together.  They will go to housekeeping in the handsome home the groom has in the finishing stages just as soon as it is ready for occupancy.
