Meinholdt, Joan M. (Marriage - 12 September 1964)

Altar bouquets of pink and white gladioli were arranged on either side of the altar of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Neillsville for the wedding Saturday of Miss Joan M. A bouffant veil of illusion was held secure by a pillbox headpiece adorned with Venice lace.

A crescent bouquet of pink roses was carried by the maid-of-honor, Miss Eileen Zank of Neillsville.

The groom was attended by his brother, James Wavrunek of New Holstein. Ushers were Thomas Meier and Thomas Thur.

Wedding day events consisted of a reception from 4 to 7 p.m. in St. Mary’s parish hall, attended by approximately 175 guests.

The bride, a graduate of Neillsville High School is a graduate of Luther Hospital School of Nursing in Eau Claire, and has been employed as a nurse in Marshfield. She served for time as assistant Clark County Public Health nurse.
