FREE TREES WILL BE GIVEN TO 4-H CLUBS

Any Clark County 4-H member who is planning to carry on of the conservation projects this coming year is eligable to recieve free trees for planting in their projects. These projects include general Conservation, Forestry and Wild Life Management. Any 4-H club member desiring these free trees should contact their local club leader or write John Oneken, Clark County 4-Hn club agent at Neillsville. These orders should be placed immediately as the order blanks are due back in the extension office by Jan. 25.

Trees which are available include Norway and White Pine, Spruce, Cedar, Elm and Black Locust. Members may recieve from 100 to 500 trees, depending on the number of years the project has been carried, and the number of members requesting trees. The 4-H member must have a suitable planting site and agree to plant the trees in order to secure these trees.
