Lindekugel, Delia Stelson (24 SEP 1888-28 DEC 1957)

 

Mrs. William Lindekugel Dies After Long Illness

 

Following an illness of several years, Mrs. William Lindekugel died at her home in Loyal at 8 p.m. Friday.

 

The former Delia Stelson was born in Stevens Point Sept. 24, 1888. She came to the Loyal area with her parents when a small child and lived here most of her life. In 1912 she was married to William Lindekugel. Upon retirement from farm life  Mr. and Mrs. Lindekugel move into the city of Loyal.

           

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and funeral serices were held there at 2 p.m. Monday, with the Rev. John Pfohl officiating. Burial was in the Loyal Cemetery.

 

Mrs. Lindekugel is survived by her husband: one daughter, Mrs. Arthur (Marie) Dahl, Granton; three sons, Paul of Sheboygan Falls, and Robert and Victor of Oshkosh; by seven grandchidren; two sisters, Mrs. Seth (Eva) Micklow, Marquette, Mich., and one brother, John Stelson, Marshfield.

 

Pallbearers were Adolph Voight, Matt Vogel, Julius Ehlert, Andrew Lindner, Casper Lindner, Casper Shober.

 

Mrs. Erwin Dux and Mrs. Erwin Noeldner sang " In The Garden" and "The Old Rugged Cross." The congregation sang "Abide With Me." Miss Carol Noeldner was organist.

 

Those from out of town who attended the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Dahl and family, Granton; Mr. and Mrs. Victor Lindekugel and Mr. amd Mrs. Robert Lindekugel and family, Oshkosh; Paul Lindekugel, Sheboygan Falls; Miss Rose Stelson, Stevens Point; Mr. and Mrs. John Stelson, Mrs. Martha Trachte, Dale Stelson, Mrs. James Ness, and Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Lindekugel, Marshfield.

 

Mr. and Mrs. James Syth, Jim Falls; Arthur Syth, Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Trachte, Neillsville; and Mr. and Mrs. Dan Brandt, Pittsville.
