O’Black, Carol Ann (10 JAN 1959)

Miss Carol Ann O’Black was claimed by Terrence Stutte as his bride during a 10 a.m. nuptial rites Saturday at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.  The Rev. Fr.  Norbert King officiated.

Parents of the young couple are Mr. and Mrs. Paul O’Black, Loyal, route 2, and Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Stutte, Loyal, route 2.

Lace embroidered roses detailed the neckline and skirt of the ballerina length gown of net over taffeta worn by the bride.  Her finger tip veil was secured to a crown style head piece of seed pearls and sequins.  She carried red roses and white carnations.

Mrs. Carlton Beaver was her sister’s matron of honor.  Her ballerina length gown was styled with an emerald green velveteen top with long sleeves and scoop neckline, and a white taffeta skirt with net overskirt trimmed with green bows.

The groom’s sister-in-law, Mrs. Duane Stutte and his sister Miss Nan Jean Stutte were bridesmaids.  With the exception of emerald green skirts their gowns were identical to that of the matron of honor.  All carried green and white feathered carnations, and wore rhinestone necklaces, and matching crown headpieces with veils.

Duane Stutte was best man for his brother and Tom Steiner, Milwaukee, and David Mech, Marshfield, cousin of the bride, were groomsmen.  Herb Langfeldt and Lawrence Esselman seated the guests.

St. Anthony’s choir furnished the nuptial music.

Brunch and a reception were given at the bride’s home and super was served at St. Anthony’s dining hall.  A wedding dance was given at the Silver Dome.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Stutte are both graduates of the Loyal High School.  Mrs. Stutte is employed by the General Telephone Company at Loyal and Mr. Stutte is an employee of Roddis Plywood Corp., Marshfield.  They will make their home in Loyal.

The bride’s mother viewed her daughter’s wedding in an aqua dress with black accessories and the groom’s mother wore a rose knit suit with black accessories.
