Schlinsog, Margaret (Marriage - 6 June 1964)

Miss Margaret Schlinsog, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Schlinsog of Granton, was given in marriage by her father to Frederick Blaskowski, son of Mrs. Catherine Blaskowski of Neillsville, during a 7:30 p.m. double nuptial ceremony solemnized Saturday by the Rev. Evan Dieck in the Zion American Lutheran Church in the Town of Grant.

For her wedding the bride selected a floor length gown, the full skirt of which was accented by tiers of sequin-trimmed lace which fell into a chapel train. The lace bodice was styled with a scalloped neckline trimmed with sequins and long sleeves which came to a point at the wrist. A full bouffant shoulder-length veil was attached to a crown of pearls and sequins. Her bridal bouquet consisted of red roses, lily-of-the-valley and carnations entwined with green.

Mrs. Ann Marie Schlinsog of Marshfield was matron-of-honor.  Bridesmaid was Mrs. Joan Counsell of Neillsville, and Margie Schlinsog was junior bridesmaid.  Laura Counsell, a niece of the groom, served as flower girl.

Marvin Schlinsog of Granton served as bestman. Groomsmen were Jack Counsell of Neillsville and John Hillert.  Ushers were Donald Hillert and Herbert Nemitz.

The wedding reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents.

The new Mrs. Blaskowski is employed in the data processing department of a Marshfield manufacturing plant.  The groom works in Neillsville.  They will reside in Granton.
