Arthur Vetterkind, a lifelong resident of this community, was placed in his final resting place at Riverside Cemetery yesterday afternoon.  Funeral services were held at 2:00 o’clock from the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home.  The Rev. During the service vocal numbers were sung by Miss Bunee Kraut with Mrs. Duran Morschek serving as accompanist.

Born Sept. 26, 1902, in the town of Hixon, Clark County, Arthur August Vetterkind had attained the age of 59 years, 2 months and 21 days, when he succumbed to a lengthy heart condition at 5:30 Sunday morning.  He was at his home in the city of Owen where he had been bedridden for the past 17 months.
