Granton (6 February 1964)

 

Mrs. Ora Beeckler is convalescing in Memorial Home following a period of hospitalization.

 

Gordon Davis of the Sherwood area, south of Granton, suffered a severe stroke Sunday at the Norman Freedlund home.  He was taken to Memorial Hospital in Neillsville.  Mr. Davis is the father of Mrs. Otto Schmidtke of Granton.

 

Members of Fidelity Camp, No. 6375, R. N. A., and the York Center Homemaker Club attended funeral services Sunday afternoon for Mrs. Audrey B. Smith in a body.

 

Fidelity Camp met last Thursday evening at the home of Mrs. William Schmidtke.  Installation of 1964 officers took place.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Lucien Moh visited Sunday with Miss Anna Sternitzky in Memorial Home at Neillsville, and with Ronald Garbisch in Memorial Hospital.

 

Erland Garbisch of Milwaukee and his sister, Miss Joyce Garbisch of St. Paul, Minn., spent the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Garbisch.

 

Douglas Opelt of St. Paul, Minn., visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Max Opelt, last weekend.
