St. Anthony’s Catholic Church (Baptisms - 1964)

 

The Rev. Norbert E. King, pastor of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, officiated December 29, at the baptism of Shelby Jeanne Domine, born December 18.  Parents are Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Domine. Sponsors were Mr. and Mrs. Gary Rothamer. 

 

Laurie Ann Bauer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bauer, was baptized December 29, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Norbert E. King officiating.  The infant, born December 23, had as her sponsors Joane and Dennis Bauer.

 

Saturday, January 4, with special permission from the pastor of the Catholic Church in Moorhead, Minn., the Rev. Norbert E. King officiated at the baptism of Jera Mary Kay Desotelle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Desotelle of Moorhead.  Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Goedell of St. Paul, Minn., were sponsors, with John and Philip Theisen acting as proxies in the absence of Mr. and Mrs. Goedell.  Mr. and Mrs. Desotelle are former residents of Loyal and moved to Moorhead last spring. Mr. Desotelle was football coach at Loyal High School.

 

Sunday, January 5, the Rev. Norbert E. King officiated at the baptism of Steve Richard Kramer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Kramer. The baby, born December 23, had as his sponsors, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Wojak of Pittsville.
