Mayer, Frances Marie (Marriage - 30 November 1963)

The altar of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Fairchild was decorated with baskets of white chrysanthemums for the nuptial mass Saturday which united in marriage Frances Marie Mayer of Minneapolis, Minn., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Mayer of Fairchild, and Paul Theodore Damberg, son of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Damberg of Minneapolis.  The Rev. Fr. M. J. Molinaro performed the double ring ceremony.

The bride entered the church with her father, who gave her in marriage. She was attired in a floor length sheath gown of white satin. The Basque bodice was styled with a rounded neckline. A chapel train was attached to the back waist cascading to the floor in a large flare.  Her shoulder-length veil was held secure by a pillbox hat. She carried a bouquet of red and white roses on a fan.

Mrs. Larry Peterson of Merrillan was her matron-pf-honor.  Bridesmaids were Mrs. Barry Bjugstad of Minneapolis and Mrs. Joe Boettcher of Fairchild.

Bestman was Barry Bjugstad of Minneapolis; groomsmen, Donald Selfors of Minneapolis and Joe Boettcher of Fairchild.  Robert and Larry Mayer of Fairchild ushered.

A reception in the high school auditorium followed the ceremony.

Mr. and Mrs. Mayer are employed in Minneapolis, where they will reside on their return from a Canadian wedding trip. They will reside at 3221-17th Ave. So., Minneapolis.
