Amdahl, Harriet (21 MAR 1908 - 29 NOV 1959)

 

Mrs. Edward Amdahl, Rt. 3, Stanley, died early Sunday in Luther Hospital in Eau Claire, following a lingering illness.

 

She was born in Duluth, Minn., March 21, 1908.  She was the daughter of Ole and Mathilda Holter.

 

She moved with her parents to Bennett, Wis., where she was married to Edward Amdahl on April 17, 1931.  The couple moved to the area south of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) soon afterwards.

 

Surviving are her husband; one son, Edward of Stanley; two foster daughters, Mrs. Dale Booth, Stanley, and Marion Holter of Warren, Ore.; also two brothers, Harold and Clarence Holter, Warren, Ore.; a sister, Mrs. Chester LaFave, Hibbing, Minn., and one grandchild.

 

Funeral services were held at our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Stanley at 2 p.m. Wednesday.  The Rev. F.M. Salverson officiated and burial was in German East Side Cemetery at Stanley.
