Mable Turner is working for Mrs. Aug. Macksam.

 

Miss Vivian Brooks will close her school in District No. 2 Friday with a picnic for her scholars.

 

Miss Holly spent Saturday and Sunday at Mrs. Edna Lawrence’s.

 

John Vande Berg and family, and Jay Davis autoed to Marshfield Sunday and spent the day with Jerry Davis and family.

 

Earl Lawrence helped Dan Timerson Tuesday.

 

Hattie Turner made a trip to Loyal Monday afternoon.

 

Next Sunday, June 8th, is Children’s Day.  There will be a progam in the M.E. Church.

 

John Vande berg had to kill his yearling colt which got cut in the wire fence about 2 weeks ago.

 

Jerry Daughhetee and family autoed over and attended church Sunday.

 

Quite a crowd gathered at the cemetery Decoration Day to fix up the graves.  Wm. Lawrence took a picture of the cemetery and one of the folks.

 

Parrett’s and O’Brien’s spent Monday at John Krejci’s and helped their little son Glen celebrate his birthday.

 

Mae Winn and Mrs. Zwick entertained the Royal Neighbors at the former’s home last Thursday.  A very pleasant  afternoon was spent.

 

Geo. Gardner, wife and daughter Vera drove down from Loyal Decoration Day and fixed up their lot in the cemetery here.

 

Mrs. Mattie Graves and Mrs. Sadie Rowe returned home the first of the week from their visit at Oakfield.

 

Will Lawrence recently purchased a motorcycle from a party at Neillsville.

 

Wm. Rowe had the misfortune to lose a cow on Monday.

 

The telephone man was through this vicinity Tuesday and took out Frank Greeler’s, Sarah Lindsley’s, Wm. Rowe’s and Stella Mortimer’s telephones.

 

Dan Timerson is able to work his colt again which got cut in the wire fence about a week ago.
