The picnic in Bealer’s grove Sunday was attended by a large crowd.  The net proceeds amounted to $92.

 

The Banner Cheese Factory will hold its annual meeting Saturday evening.  All patrons are requested to be present.

 

Mr. and Mrs. R. Guk, Mrs. C. Guk and Mrs. W. Guk attended the funeral of a relatives at Grand Rapids Tuesday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Louis Knoop drove out and spent Sunday at the Will Duge home on the Ridge.

 

Louis Sternitzky had a barn raising last Saturday.

 

As far as is known the only one that suffered an after effect from the picnic is Carl Omhold.

 

Willie Behling sawed wood for W. Albrecht Monday.

 

C. Guk purchased a full blooded Holstein bull of W. Dix on Monday.

 

A few of Fred Lichte’s neighbors dropped in Monday evening and called his attention to the fact that he had passed another milestone on his life’s journey.

 

Peddlers and agents are getting as numerous as gophers in a cornfield.
