Jalowitz, Adeline (19 SEP 1959)

 

Married Saturday, Sept. 19, 1959, in St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church here were Miss Adeline Jalowitz, , daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Jalowitz, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), and Eugene Gustafson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Gustafson of Boyd.  The Rev. Francis Disher officiated at the 10 a.m. ceremony.

 

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a chapel length gown of Mantilla lace and tulle over taffeta, styled with a Sabrina neckline, long tapered sleeves and a tiered skirt.  Her fingertip veil was attached to a Swedish tiara.  She carried an orchid with stephanotis.

 

Miss Joanne Jalowitz, sister of the bride, was maid of honor.  Bridesmaids were Mrs. Terry Javore and Miss Edna Gustafson, sister of the groom.  All wore emerald green dresses with matching headbands featuring blusher veils.

 

Flower girl was Debbie Jalowitz in a mint green dress made identical to the bridesmaids.  Ring bearer was Kenneth Jalowitz.

 

John Gustafson was best man for his brother.  Ushers were Art Ciolkosz and Dick Ruff.

 

The reception was held at the church hall.

 

Mrs. Jalowitz attended the wedding in a blue dress with black accessories and a corsage of pink and white carnations and roses.  The groom’s mother wore a brown ensemble with a similar corsage.

 

After a honeymoon to northern Wisconsin, the young couple are making their home in Boyd where the grooms is employed as a mechanic in the Boyd Oil and Garage.
