Lynn (17 October 1963)

 

A farewell party was given for Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Kayn, Sr., last Thursday evening. The Kayns are moving to Chicago. Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Walter Roehl, Mrs. Erwin Holerooh, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Riedel, Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Sternitzky, Mrs. Otto Hasz and Rickie, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Zuehlke, Mrs. Leon Zuehlke and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. John Barth, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Lindow, Mrs. Glen Kleinschmidt and children, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Grottke and daughter, Elaine Sternitzky, Judi Morrison, Mrs. Otto Kallis, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Payne, Jr., and son, Marshfield, and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Grottke.

Mrs. Leo Sternitzky entertained the Lynn Birthday club at her home Wednesday afternoon. There were 16 members present.  Mrs. Sternitzky presented each member with an orchid corsage.  A motion was made to donate $10 to Memorial convalescent home at Neillsville.  A lunch was served by the hostess.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ure and Muriel, and grandchildren, Barbara and Cindy Ure, were Sunday guests at the Urban Schmidt home in Neillsville in honor of the seventh birthday of their son, Ned.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Reichart and son, Russell, of Janesville, and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Deering of Marshfield called on Misses Lydia and Marcella Schune, Thursday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Norman Helm and family for West Bend, and Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Helm and family of Cedarburg, visited Mr. and Mrs. Louis Helm over the weekend.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Sternitzky visited Fred Bartsch at the convalescent home in Arpin last week.

 

Dan Adams and Clark Brooks are fishing at Birchwood.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Martin Krause are visiting friends in Appleton.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Short are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Allen Troemner in DeForest.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Sternitzky visited Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Kaddatz and family at Wisconsin Rapids Sunday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Schmidt of Dorchester, and Mr. and Mrs. Don Riedel and family of Eau Claire, visited Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Riedel Sunday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Otto Hasz, Mr. and Mrs. William Bandt and Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Bandt of Chili, and Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Draheim of Marshfield, attended the funeral of a relative in Grand Marsh Wednesday. 

 

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Riedel took at trip to Lake City on business Thursday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. William Dankemyer visited Mr. and Mrs. Arno Ross and Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Seipel in Eau Claire Sunday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Louis Lautenbach of Levis visited Mr. and Mrs. William Dankemyer Friday evening

 

Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Foote of Langford, S. D., visited Mr. and Mrs. William Foote, from Wednesday until Saturday; Edwin Foote is a brother of William Foote.
