Rev. Basow of Greenwood delivered a very interesting sermon here Sunday afternoon.

 

Frank Greeler delivered some hogs and a veal calf to Loyal Monday.

 

Jerry Davis, who is canvassing for the Beaver Remedy Co. was in this vicinity last week.

 

Wm. Benedict was somewhat under the weather Saturday and Sunday.

 

John VandeBerg went to Loyal on Saturday and helped Hans Olson unload his silo.

 

Hattie Turner drove up and spent Friday at Gordon Davis’.

 

Mrs. Ed Northup mopped the floor in the schoolhouse in District No. 2 on Saturday.

 

Mrs. Pearl Pease spent Sunday at home.

 

Mrs. Lena Rowe and Jennie Fulwiler were the guests of Ollie Shafer on Friday.

 

The laides aid will meet with Mrs. Ida Pease this week Wednesday.

 

Earl Lawrence delivered some veal calves to market at Neillsville Monday.  John Vande Berg delivered a load of hogs to market Monday.

 

A large crowd attended the Missionary program at the Free Methodist Church Sunday evening.

 

Ed Voigt is the owner of a new buggy and harness which eh purchased at Neillsville on Saturday.

 

Wm. Lawrence has taken the job to paint Sam Benedict’s house.

 

Plans are underway for a children’s day program.  They meet at John Vande Berg’s Sunday evening for practice.

 

Roy Lawrence and Harmon Huntley and families spent Sunday at Geo. Huntley’s.

 

Wm. Rowe and wife took supper at E.G. Rowe’s Sunday night.

 

Jesse Mortimer delivered a load of hogs to Granton on Monday.
