Albert Gall and mother drove to Pittsville last Tuesday.

 

Fred Erdman left last week for North Dakota.

 

Mamie Henninger closed school Friday the 16th in District No. 1 and left Saturday for her home in Withee.

 

Florence Sparks is working for her cousin, Mrs. R. Schreiber.

 

Jule Ziemendorf is painting his store building by the cheese factory which improves the looks of the place wonderfully.  That’s right Jule, make things look good.

 

Mr. A.A. Gates went to Neillsville on Monday to attend the County Board.

 

Emma Freedland is on the sick list.

 

Dave and Jesse Sparks were Granton callers Saturday.

 

Miss Sadie Ziemendorf is visiting at home this week.  She will return to Grand Rapids Saturday to work.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ed Ziemendorf went to Neillsville Monday on business.

 

Jesse Sparks’ family has the mumps.

 

Allen Freedland came home last Saturday from Illinois.

 

A son is reported born to Mr. and Mrs. Clark Calkins at Almond.

 

Lots of rain and cold weather the past two weeks.  Wonder when we will get some snow.

 

Mrs. A. Mongola came home from Chicago last Saturday.

 

William Sultrecht is working in Granton.
