Denise Barnik, Dorhcester, and Kevin Bunkelman, Colby, were married August 6, 2011, at the Athens Community Hall with Pastor Andy Alberts presiding. 

 

The bride is the daughter of Eugene and Kristel Bartnick, Dorchester. The groom is the son of Richard and Mary Bunkelman, Colby. 

 

The miniature bride was Sienna Warnke, Wittenberg. The ringbearer was Kian Heier, Athens. 

 

The maid of honor was Jenny Dommer, Wausau, and matron of honor was Lisa Warnke, Wittenberg. The bridesmaids were Heather Krueger, Athens; Autumn Stelzl, La Crosse; April Kussrow, Dorchester; and Melissa Gokey, Marshfield. 

 

The best man was Dave Zassenhaus, Eau Claire. The groomsmen were Nathan Heier, Athens; Jeremy Fiedler, Abbotsford; Jimmy Bloome, Unity; Brian Bartnick, Abbotsford; and Michael Kepke, Edgar. 

 

Ushers were Peter Graff, Stetsonville, and Kyle Krueger, Madison. 

 

Music during the ceremony was provided by Graffic Sound. The wedding photographer was Tom Loos. 

 

A reception with 250 guests was held in Athens.

 

The couple took their honeymoon in Minocqua and will spend some time in the winter in Florida.

 

The bride is a graduate of Colby High School and works on a dairy farm.

 

The groom graduated from Colby High School and works at Edgar IGA.
